S.E.A SOUND — Southeast Asian Indigenous Orchestra — is a long-term project to build the first orchestra model centered on indigenous instruments of the region.
Not a Western symphony re-imagined.
Not a museum of tradition.
But a question: if indigenous instruments were organized
according to their own sonic logic — what could they say?

Instruments collection
The interplay between bamboo, raw timber, metal and hide opens up a diverse world of instrumental art — where each sonic architecture possesses its own timbre and evokes profound layers of emotion. While preserving almost entirely the pristine forms and native timbres of indigenous instruments, the project breathes new life into them through innovative performance techniques.
"thức" is the first performance to emerge from the S.E.A SOUND project.
